Just thinking!

I can't sleep tonight, to many things wandering around in my head. You know those old space movies where someone fires a projectile of some kind and the shot ricochets off of everything, thats what my head feels like tonight. Not a very good feeling, especially since I would rather be asleep...............

Still haven't found a job, not even a prospect of one.......................getting kinda scary folks. Coming up on June/July two very sad months for me now, permanently branded into my soul as two months just to get through. So between that and no job, well I guess you could say I'm rather depressed. God seems far away and ignoring me, not that I blame Him, but I wish it wasn't like that.

I'm not the only one though, you look around and there is fear and a feeling of despair everywhere. People loosing their homes and jobs and any semblance of security in their lives.

Some more Fam pictures!

The Fam!

I was about 8/9 in this picture, which means Colleen was about 12/13. Thats my Granny Emma and Papa.

Papa was the sweetest man, on Sunday mornings he would read the Funny Paper to us and do the voices for each one. I can't remember EVER hearing him say anything bad about anybody. The local radio station "Coyote McCloud" used to tell jokes all the time and almost everyone was introduced as the newest joke from Painter Harry (my Papa). He could whistle like you wouldn't believe, whole songs or bird calls. I loved him dearly, and he is waiting for me up in heaven with God.

Granny Emma helped raise us, she also made certain we went to church Sunday morning, Sunday night and Wednesday night. Its because of her (and the wonderful people at our church) that I know about God and Jesus and the wonderful love They have for us. She wasn't even 5 foot tall, but she was a dynamo! When it was time for us to come in she would flip the porch light on and off (LOL) so you better say your goodbyes quick and get in the house. She's up in heaven too, and one day I'll see her again and tell her thank you for all she did for me, since I didn't realize it before she was gone.

Love you Emma and Papa!
